"The Road Dog" is a feature film written and directed by Greg Glienna, original creator of Meet the Parents, and starring comedian Doug Stanhope. The film follows an alcoholic stand-up comedian whose life takes an unexpected turn when he meets the son he never knew he had, offering him an opportunity to reconsider the life he has built.
I served as 1st Assistant Director on this SAG-AFTRA production, supporting a cast and crew of approximately 20–30 personnel throughout a demanding 28-day shooting schedule. I was responsible for coordinating daily production logistics, maintaining the shooting schedule, facilitating frequent company moves, and ensuring efficient communication and execution across departments. Working within a fast-paced independent production environment required careful planning, adaptability, and the ability to keep a lean crew moving efficiently while meeting the demands of the schedule.
Due to an unexpected accident with a cast member, I also performed the role of "Stephanie" in the film.
